Ethiopia Celebrated World Animal Day for 13th time!
The first World Animal Day was held on March 24, 1925. Since then, the World Animal Day is a global event that unites the animal welfare movement; mobilizing it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals.
World Animal Day 2023 is celebrated with theme of “Great or Small, Love Them All”. As a member of the national animal welfare working group (AWWG); Elnet Foundation is actively participating and raising awareness on animal welfare issues since 2021.
This year World Animal Day is celebrated at Addis Ababa University Colleges of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture with the presence of invited stakeholders and an animal welfare demonstration in Bishoftu town.
We are excited to display our equine mobile veterinary clinic during the celebration, joining the amazing animal welfare student club members advocating for animals. Each one of us can make a difference – together we make change!
