As Ethiopia commemorates World Rabies Day for the 17th time globally and for the 12th time nationally – our Foundation is one of the technical organizing committees represented by Dr. Yimesgen Tarekegn – our animal welfare coordinator joining Rabies actors in the National Rabies Technical Working Groups with our active engagement in the National One Health Steering Committee.
Rabies is one of the top priority zoonotic diseases that Ethiopia is working on – this is why we at Elnet Foundation are very much interested in joining the national effort. So, as Ethiopia says #EndRabiesby2030 we are very much committed to keeping our engagement with the National One Health Steering Committee, and we will keep our contribution to partner and collaborate with actors in the system.
