These initiatives have the potential to benefit the earth in three ways: by creating jobs, absorbing and storing carbon dioxide that warms the planet, and enhancing ecosystem health.
As Ethiopia sought to plant 20 billion seedlings in six years and 6 billion in 2022, The Elnet Foundation’s tree planting initiative to plant trees has planted 7,000 trees in 7 carefully chosen locations in Ethiopia as of 2022. In our tree-planting campaign, 250 people took part. The initiative involved 4 organizations. At Elnet Foundation, our environmental protection and restoration program includes reforestation and afforestation, supporting ecotourism, addressing biodiversity loss, plastic recycling, city beautification, awareness raising and more.
