Elnet Foundation together with Pastoral & Environmental Network in the Horn of Africa (PENHA) successfully completed the rapid assessment to identify the deficits of Veterinary services and welfare for working animals in strategically selected woredas of Borana Zone namely Teltele, Elwaye and Yabello. The joint rapid assessment attempted to investigate the availability of technology and infrastructure in those selected woredas as well. We are hopeful that the outcomes will be used to identify how animal welfare and community resilience can be improved in those selected woredas of Borana Zone. In addition to this Elnet Foundation together with Gudina Tumsa Foundation had an overall assessment in different sectors including education, agriculture, health and other major development sectors in those selected woredas.
