Elnet Foundation (EF) and Gudina Tumsa Foundation (GTF) have in collaboration started the journey to bring about positive change Bishoftu town by empowering most vulnerable youth, children and women via BiCWEP project.
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to the intellectual, physical, social and moral development of vulnerable street children, youth and women in the Bishoftu town. The project has four components; school feeding, rehabilitation of street children, a child and women care center and women and youth economic empowerment. Today, October 25th, 2021 the school feeding has officially started at Millennium kindergarten and primary school. Delegates from the City Administration, including representative from the Bishoftu town Education Office, where present to celebrate the launching of the project. Elnet Foundation and partners are proud that everyday, 150 students with very vulnerable background will have the chance to eat at their school.
