We’re excited to share that Elnet Foundation, in collaboration with the Dire Dawa Development Association and the Dire Dawa Administration Education Office, has launched a student feeding program to benefit 500 students at Guguba Primary School. This initiative provides nutritious meals, helping students stay focused, healthy, and engaged in their studies.

Mr. Sultan Aliyi, Head of the Dire Dawa Administration Education Office, noted that the program is key to reducing dropouts and supporting low-income students. Mr. Ketema Tesema, Manager of the Dire Dawa Development Association, emphasized the importance of this initiative in ensuring students don’t miss school due to hunger. Dr. Rahel Jigi, our Program Director, announced that the project will last for a year, with plans to continue.
